This stuff should work fine for your ferrules.  One word of caution, though.
NEVER uses this stuff unless you are sure you NEVER want the parts you're
gluing to come apart.  If you drip, smear or otherwise get this stuff where
it doesn't belong (and it's easy to do because it's very sticky) clean it up
right away with the solvent suggested on the label.  Once it cures, nothing
will get it off.  For less permanent applications 3M 4200 might be a better
choice.
