But if there is soo much water in the cockpit - how it get in? Through a
closed sprayskirt? I f you just closed it after a re-entry, don´ßt close it
completeley an ready. I use normal sprayskirts, meanwhile selfmade, and got
no problems.

a self bailer might a little bit big for a kayak. who wants to make a real
hole in the bottom? What happens if you get caught with an edge from the
bailer on something else??

Most kayak will be unstable if full with water, not my Umiak. I filled him
completely sitting inside. Okay, there was a little airbag in the front.
The Kayak lay total stable, but difficult to manoeuvre. What a wonder!
