I just wanted to mention to the list that I did do a few attempts at
putting "thought to post", regarding fitness training and kayaking, but
would rather wait to post the results, as there are so many opinions as
to what is best, what to avoid, and what can be injurious. I will hammer
something out when I get a chance -- something that will have some
relevance and scope.

In the mean time, Paddlewise actually keeps me very fit. I must be
burning about 80 calories every time I jump to a conclusion on this
list; burn 100 calories every time I beat around the bush; 200 calories
every time I make a mountain out of a molehill; 500 calories every time
I toot my own horn; and finally, 1000 calories every time I add fuel to
the fire of a flame war. :-)
