I never thought I'd regret my muscular manly thighs... I just bought a used OTC Millennium 160. The 160's I've been in did not have thigh braces, but mine does. I found that where they are located hits me wrong: not wide enough so the end which is somewhat pointed digs into my mid thigh (If they came out another inch or two they'd be perfect). I removed them and the boat fits me fine, but I think in a hard brace or roll my thigh is going to come out from under the deck. I would like to find a set of thigh braces that are a bit wider to replace them with but am having trouble finding any. I will be contacting OTC to see if I am correct in my belief that these braces come in "one size fits nobody" (except very small kayakers), or it I can get a broader/wider brace from them. I am not sure if the last owner installed them and cut them down... Does anyone know of a company that makes thigh braces?
