Thanks for putting the story in words. I would definitely consider taking legal action. Why was the operator only ticketed? It seems that this was vehicular assault, especially considering his asking who else wanted to go for a swim. Any of the lawyers out there want to comment. As for your PFD problems, if you are interested in a regular PFD, you might consider one with crotch straps if you haven't already.
