PWC's in general, I believe, are 2-stroke inboards with an impeller/pump unit. Not to be confused with the 4-stroke inboard pump ski/speedboats that might only seat two, or 2-stroke outboard jetboats for shallow river navigation. Maybe "2-stroke inboard" is the only generalization I could make, and I'm still not sure the government officially recognizes it that way.
