The K-1 is my absolute favorite folder, so I'm curious as to what you
don't like about it. It's a fantastic boat on the water. My only
complaint is that it takes about twice as long to assemble as any other
folder (mine is a 1997 model). If you prefer a wider boat, I'd suggest
the Klepper or Nautiraid singles.

If you find the AII too much for single paddling, you may find the
Nautiraid easier. It doesn't wallow quite as much as the double Klepper
when lightly loaded, being smaller, lower and as wide. I've spoken and
corresponded with a number of paddlers who enjoy using it as a single.
But as you already own a couple of doubles I think you might be better
off finding a single you like.
