I am new to the list and undoubtably there has been previous discussion on inflatable Kayaks, but since I would like to purchase a Kayak soon, i would like any advice you have. It will be used mostly on Long Island NY on slow tidal rivers and bays, protected areas of the Long island sound. I have heard that they tend to "sail" in the wind, and "Yaw" alot with each paddle stroke. Of course the benefit of being able to toss it in your trunk is a nice pro, but I do not want to struggle with it on the water. What do you think? If you would rather respond off line my email address is splotkin_at_spec.net. Thanks alot- Stuart *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
