I couldn't find a generic equivalent- all I know is that it's a urethane
curing agent. BUT... check fly fishing shops near your house. Aquaseal
and Cotol is often sold for repairing neoprene waders. DIve shops might
be a good source, too.

Cotol is toluene.

Someone said it would make the Aquaseal brittle. I use toluene to thin
my Aquaseal and haven't observed any brittleness.

I also use it so thin my Seamseal, which is the same polyurethane
adhesive (but thinner) and also made by McNett, and it remains very
flexible.

The polymer moisture cures. The toluene evaporates. I am not sure how
toluene accelerates the cure: perhaps it leaves voids that suck in humid
air.
