Dear fellow paddlers,

I am choosing to at this time paddle off into the sunset. (In otherwords
unsubscribe from Paddlewise) It seems I am moving away from the sea. My family
and I will be moving to Wasilla Alaska to direct a conference center. On
occasion I will make it back to the sea but for now my main interest will once
again be dog mushing. So "I will go o go where the huskies go, but not eat
that yellow snow"

I have enjoyed the profound prose of my fellow paddlers and have gained from
your wisdom and even your flames.Paddle safely and always make it back home.

farewell,

Bob

Sitka

Bob, we will miss you and your interesting reports, and your serenity and
wisdom. I'm not much of a churchgoer, but think that you must be a terrific
pastor, and had daydreamed of dropping into your church in Sitka some day.

Wasilla isn't that far from the ocean, so don't lose touch with that part
of your life. Of course, if you're into dogs, you can't find a much better
place. My regards to people you will meet like Libby Riddles, Hobo Jim
Vanko, and Leo Rasmussen, among other Iditarod-related folk I have had the
pleasure to meet. I suspect I'll be seeing your name in the race reports . . .
