The author is Dennis Stuhaug "former editor with Canoe & Kayak magazine and the author of Kayaking Made Easy....He lives and paddles in the Seattle area." >From the photos it appears as if the book was sponsored in some way by Ocean Kayak. Apart from being of personal interest, I ordered it so I can lend it to newbie friends. Good sections on PFDs and paddles.
