Thanks for the heads-up that you're trying to kill me. :)
There's no need however, since I do a pretty good job of that myself,
paddling always in a drysuit and without sponsons. Hasn't worked yet though,
so I guess I'm not perfect. Darn it...

For those who are curious about why my name is involved. Last year I wrote a
drysuit review for Sea Kayaker, which started a debate between Ralph and I
(on PW and in the letters to the editor in SK). The essence of the debate is
that I suggested unrolling a drysuit while on the water as a way to manage
heat in certain difficult situations (e.g. hot still mornings on cold water,
with wind expected later in the day). Ralph kindly pointed out that I hadn't
adequately explained when and how this might be a good idea for someone to
consider increasing their risk in such a gross manner. As far as I could
tell, the debate was amicable enough, and I certainly appreciate Ralph's
position.
