Although this is a little off topic I offer it as a break from the intensive paddle theory. There was an interesting article in one of our papers a few months ago about shark attacks. A scientist had discovered a correlation between weeing in wetsuits and shark attacks. Apparently, according to the scientist, the combination of urine and Neoprene is a bit of a turn on for sharks. I think, if I remember correctly, they had interview as many shark attack victims as they could, nearly all surfers, and found that they had weed in their wetsuit just before they were attacked.
