[Paddlewise] Naples and Pelicans

I was in Naples, Florida once.  There is a long pier there
and there were a lot of Pelicans on it, mainly near the
end.  I'd never seen a Pelican before except in cartoons.  
There were loads of them and they weren't afraid of people
and you could get quite close to them. I think they were a
protected species.  They are big and they sure have big
pouches under their mouths.
