My thoughts this weekend will be of my younger brother who was lost to Kamikaze at Okinawa and of the many friends who were lost while bombing with the 15th Air Force. I was in a German prison camp when my brother, Benny, died and I believe I knew it as it occurred. But it doesn't take the holiday to awaken memories. The memory of my lost friends live with me always.
