Dear Gary,

I have heard that Costa del Mar are the absolute killer
shades for kayaking. Polarized, maximally scratchproof blue mirrored
glass might be the things for kayaking or ocean in general. Some
would use vermillion but I prefer a more natural color balance
http://www.eshades.com/ seems to be the best discounter, I am looking
at wavekiller or eliminator models myself.
http://www.costadelmar.com/ is the best place to go for technical
info. Costs $135 for no prescription for wavekiller. Use chums and
clip the back of the retainer to your vest or something. I've no
commercial affiliation to either entity. If you find somebody in
the Boston area who stocks this line let me know, I would pay $15
extra just to try the frames before I buy.

All the best,

Peter K
