I'm looking for Kyuquot Sound tides on-line. Closest I've
found was Bamfield. I'll need at least a week's worth (next
week's). About half the sites I've found gave me 404s.

Namaste,

Ed

Hi Ed,

You may want to try,

http://tbone.biol.sc.edu/tide/tideshow.cgi?site=Kyuquot%2C+British+Columbia

enter the dates you are looking for and the way you want it displayed. I
have not tried it for Kyuquot but when I misplaced my tide table a couple of
weeks ago I tried it for another area I was paddling and I found it quite
accurate. If you go to the pages home page you can link to thousands of tide
tables.

Try

http://tbone.biol.sc.edu/tide/sites_othernorth.html

Huge number of tide table sites. Find British Columbia and then find sites
near where you are paddling. You will find what you need

Hi Michael,

Try the same site as the one for the tides. Got to
http://tbone.biol.sc.edu/tide/sitesel.html and then click on the link for
"Alphabetic list of all current speed sites" it takes a minute or two to
load as it is a very large page (600 KB I believe).

I can't vouch for the accuracy of this site as I have never used it before
for currents but I just checked a couple of dates in July for Weynton
Passage and the times on this site were within 5 minutes of the times
published in the Canadian Tide and Current Tables.
