This is absolutely untrue.  Every community (remote village) in Alaska
has a school and just about everyone of them has television.  They are
not illiterate even if they are elderly.  Quite frankly most of your
posting was off base.  This is from a life long Alaskan with 55 years of
Alaskan history behind him.  I am a little unsure but did I sense
sarcasm in your posting?
