All, I'm new here but this is getting awfully confusing... I read the original post by the professor and the follow up on Greek Othodoxy and enjoyed them very much. My professional colleagues were certainly wondering how I was wasting company time due to the snorts and snickers. When I read the followup criticisms at first I thought "How could they have taken this seriously?" then I thought maybe their apparent lack of a sense of humor was in itself intentionally subtle sarcasm that _I_ am missing... Who's on first?? Aside, I recently signed onto the list. I'm primarily a mediocre sea kayaker (Romany & Sirius) but lately all I've been able to think about is kayak surfing (Mega Cyclone). Strangely enough, I've somehow found myself signed up for a whitewater class later this month..? I live and paddle in the Puget Sound area.
