I seem to remember someone recently asking about trailers. Chris Osment, long-time member of the US Wildwater team is selling one in Atlanta that looks like a pretty good deal. Reason for sale is an international move. His words follow: ...my canoe/kayak trailer is for sale. It is 16 ft long, has tail lights and turn signals with a 4 pin connection, a 4X5 box bed that is 18 inches deep, and two bars....enough for 4 canoes, or about 10 kayaks. It has a new high speed axle and a 750 pound weight rating, and current Georgia License, good through August 2002. Two inch standard ball hitch. $300 - this would make a good club trailer or scout troop trailer if you know of anyone interested - phone 770.934.3326. It's been to the Arkansas river in Colorado, Minnesota and Wisconson, the Deerfield in Massachuesetts and all around the south. It tows just fine on the highway, and is light enough for one adult to handle it when moving it around. -- Steve *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
