Mike,

Wayne Horodowich's new video has a demonstration of this. He uses it while on
his stomach with his hands extended in front of his head. I suggested to him
last year, that I preferred doing a back stroke with it by extending it beyond
my head as well.

Wayne has told me he has tried both methods and he prefers on his stomach. I
(who am not anywhere near Wayne's league) prefer to use it with a back stroke.

I guess it really is "different strokes for different folks. But the main
point is It does work!!

Steve

I'd like to see a demonstration of this. I've tried several different ways
of

swimming with a paddle and none seem to work particularly well.

I've tried on my stomach with feathered and unfeathered and on my back

with both feathered and unfeathered. I've tried holding the paddle in

front of me and close to me as well as along my arms.

The most relaxing seems to be on my back unfeathered, but nothing seems

  really powerful.

  Any hints?

  Mike
