Hi Peter,

I carry Norabel Hansson Day-Night Distress Signals. Nato stock
#1370-17-031-3774. I got these from Pete Goss after his multi-gazillion dollar
boat/toy destructed off our coast last year during an attempt at some kind of
cross-Atlantic speed record. They are about 1 1/2" diameter and 5" long. Red
night flare on one end, orange day smoke on the other. I can carry 3 in a PFD
pocket. The one I have tried worked very well. Either end can be used without
effecting the other. Unfortunately, none of the marine suppliers around here
can seem to locate a distributor. They are made by Norabel Hansson AB,
Sweden.

Cheers,
Kerry
