Forwarded from a kayak surfer friend of mine: ************************************************************* Author: Charles - 09/10/2001 (17:40) Was out surfing the Groins a couple of weeks ago, about a 14ft W swell on the outside. Couldn't help but notice that toward the Hoquiam side of the harbour there were, what looked like, phenomenally big and clean rollers breaking over, what Scott H thought was a sand bar. Any of sea kayaking community know anything about this? Anybody at all? *************************************************************** If anyone has any info about this spot, we'd be awfully interested. Thanks, Thomas *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
