The nightmare on the east coast has left me on a longer visit to Los Angeles than I had planned. If anyone on the list is interested in getting together I would love to hook up with someone to paddle. I'm staying for the weekend in Newport beach (on balboa island). I've already found the southwind kayak center and could possibly rent a boat through them (my rental car doesn't have a rack though). If anyone wants to try to get together I'll do my best to check this email account later. Also I gave Jackie my phone numbers.
