    While in the army it was considered a luxury to have a " sleeping bag
liner". Really kept you a lot warmer. It is a polyester quilt that slipped
around you before getting in the bag.  It is camouflage colored, light as a
feather and dries very fast. It costs about $30 at an Army Navy store. Also,
thanks to everyone who helped me with my paddling jacket dilemma.  The voice
of experience is always worth listening to.
