Sewing a paddle bag is easy; In less then a day you should be able to make one, without ever having used a sewing machine before. After that, you can start modifying sprayskirts, anoraks and PFD's. When you've managed that you are ready to start making your own fleece paddle clothing. I've bought a sewing machine 3 years ago and taught myself to make my own paddleclothing, being tired of all the expensive misfits I had been wearing. It is well worth the cost and the effort.
