[Paddlewise] Ext. kayak cover material

Leaving my kayak exposed to the elements on top of my vehicle for days at a
time I am considering having a cover made for the kayak for UV protection.  I
have two questions.   Does anyone know of a source that makes custom kayak
covers?   I may go the route of having a local tailor sew a cover together,
which leads to my next question.  What would be the best material to use for a
exterior cover?
