Another souce of "Adventure Fabrics" is QuestOutfitters_at_home.com - they only recently went online, so i'm not sure of the proper URL - phone is 800-359-6931

their catalog has all sorts of tips on how to sew, and accessories such as seam sealer, shock cord (for tent poles, grommets, metal fastenasars, buckles, zippers. they also have sample packs (for a small fee) of the different types of fabric.

ref the boat covers, I was wondering if it would work out cheaper to buy a Tyvek car cover...or pontoon boat cover, for example, and then cut it to size.

this might work out best for those of us with more than one boat. At $100 a pop (River Raiders, for example) them be's 'spensive.
