G'Day Ken and Paddlewise,
Would like to extend the comments on paddle assisted reentry and roll. For
people who can reenter and roll but can't put on the spray deck while upside
down in the water, using a paddle float should give additional stability
during the pump out phase. Also when practising I've become cold and weary
enough to flunk a roll but succeed with a paddle float assisted roll.

By the way in the competition it might be an idea to test outcomes with cold
weary paddlers!! How about the proposition that when cold and tired its a
good time to practice but not to learn something new.

All the best, PeterO
