November 26, 81degrees and sunny, laid back soaking up the rays on a
white shell beach surrounded by teal blue water. Shamrock island in the
Laguna Madre is about a half hour paddle from Padre Island. It is a
small island with several coves inside the island, one of which has
another island in the middle of the cove. It is a great bird nesting
area and gives you the feeling of a deserted tropical isle. There are
three pictures of the island trip on
http://community.webshots.com/user/johnsonkw1 under the "Kayaking
Beautiful Corpus Christi" album. Come on down you-all....the water is
fine!
