[Paddlewise] Paddlewise] How to clean tents and sleeping bags?

My humble opinion, based on hearing reports from many others as well, is
that a down bag will never be the same [loft-wise] after washing as before.
For future help, a liner is a nice way to keep the bag clean.

Tent washing can be done by setting the thing up and hosing it down inside
and out, then sponge it with soap or detergent and then hose it down again
until rinsed. This being said, I've only washed one tent one time in my
life. I like the ambience of squashed blackflies.
