A few months ago two new rescue books were reviewed here. I saved Steve Cramer's review of "Sea Kayak Rescue: The definitive guide to modern reentry and recovery techniques", by Roger Schumann and Jan Shriner, 2001, but I can't remember what the other one was. With Christmas coming up, I was looking for some gift ideas. Does anyone remember what the other book was, and does anyone have any opinions on them? In a nutshell, Roger and Jan's book is focused solely on R&R, John's book is more of a broad picture look at the sport of sea kayaking with safety AND rescue as a focus. Both are excellent reads and one could easily justify owning both!
