<<Hello from a recreational paddler in the Sarasota, Florida area who just signed up on PaddleWise. I know a few of you including the infamous, SandyKayak.>> Hallelujah, this is my paddling pal who moved to Sarasota. I think it's fair to say that she, like me is also a "warm water, wimp paddler." She has also paddled/camped with Pat Moss. we recently paddled together on the Little Mannattee River (east of Bradenton, Fla) and a couple of weekends ago we met and paddled the Estero River (south of Ft. Myers, Fla) and did the Pamlico/Scupper Pro trade. Our next trip is a Turner River paddle on 12/8. We manage to do quite a few river trips as we enjoy the scenic routes....the fact that the river bank is usually within easy reach adds to the beauty as far as I'm concerned!
