I'll be there from Dec. 23-25, and would be interested in hearing any replies, too.  So far, I only know of Sea Trek in Sausalito.

I am planning to be in San Francisco  in mid janurary on my way to a
conference. can anyone suggest a place I could rent a kayak for an afternoon.
I probably can't carry a kayak on a rental car so the outfitter would have to
be "on the water.
