I just purchased the Canon Powershot S300. Like many of the smaller
Canon digital cameras it is available with a very good looking
waterproof housing. I purchased the housing as well but have not
tried it yet. The camera does a very nice job, is easy to use, very
small and seems quite rugged.

You can find a fairly comprehensive review of this camera at
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canondigitalixus300/default.asp
Someone mentioned the A20:

There are similar reviews for a lot of cameras at this site.

I will use the camera primarily for my website (see
http://www.guillemot-kayaks.com/Building/SkinOnFrame/Ribs/index.html
for some pictures of installing ribs in a skin on frame kayak as an
example) but I have printed out hard copy. At 4" x 5" the pictures
look great. Sharpness will be reduced at 8" x 10" but should still be
satisfactory.
