And I'll have to admit in my quest for a waterproof digital camera that it was really a digital Nikonos I most hoped for. My idea of perfection in kayaking cameras was the Nikonos that was hitched to a companion paddler through the Colorado River (Grand Canyon in U.S.) at 30,000 cfs. Now THAT'S a camera ready for action, in every sense. So sorry to hear of the potential demise of the Nikonos.
