G'Day Matt and Paddlewise,

Up til now I haven't, but it sounds sensible. Could you describe the method
of tethering. I like to have the float available for reentry and roll or the
conventional paddle float reentry. Should the float be tethered to the
paddle? It would seem a bit awkward tethered to the boat?

Peter,

I took 4mm cord, tied each end to a clip.  Then, I clipped one end to a
gromet on the float and the other to a deck line on the back of the boat.
