There were only two "maybes" to this February event in Florida. Additionally, things have changed at my end asI will be having a houseguest during that period. Therefore, I do not plan to attend the symposium.

Anybody who is interested can contact Jean Totz (jtotz_at_gte.net) from Sweetwater Kayaks for assistance. She said they could arrange for transportation from Tampa International Airport - she mentioned a Shuttle (Super Shuttle?) service.

She also said that transportation from the Fort de Soto campground is needed to the symposium itself. Perhaps some of the Paddlewisers who are going can get together on this.

I am in the midst of packing for my 10 day sea kayak trip in Baja (sea of
Cortez). I am always confused about how much white gas to figure on per
day. There will be 5 people in the food group and I have an MSR dragonfly
stove. I would suspect most meals will require about 15-20 minutes of
cooking. Does anyone have a good rule of thumb for white gas? -- MZ

My wife Cindy and I will be there. I'm doing my Coach 3 assessment and
helping Greg Stamer with some Greenland classes and more.
