Remember back in May when I bought my baby beluga 2/1mm wetsuit (and Bob Denton said that would not be much use off the California coast)? I went out on Morro Bay (I wore a long-sleeved rash guard shirt on top)with Ann Getour (sp?). The water was so shallow my butt was scraping the sand quite often, so a capsize was highly unlikely and I could have walked to the nearest sand bar. We were in the very protected Morro Bay. As we ate a delicious picnic lunch provided by my host(ess), we saw two young adults and two children on a tandem SOT. All wearing T-shirts and shorts! I couldn't believe the rental company (assuming they did rent from the outfitter) allowed them to go out like that - overloaded and unprepared.
