I had the gender in my last post right when I composed it, but then changed it everywhere when I read the subject line as I pasted it in place. OOPS! Does the small kayak she is using even have any significant flotation? I was once told by one employee at REI that because of the little foam blocks in the ends (of the kayak I was looking at) it didn't need any additional float bags.
