Hey all and happy new year, I attended a talk by Stan Chladek about his trip to the antarctic with Niggel Dennis and a third whom I can't remember. They took take- apart Romany Explorer's. He believed that folding boats would have been damaged during the very rough rock,ice and surf landings they were going to encounter (not to mention he doesn't carry them). I believe that Valley and NDK offers a take apart option on all their boats.
