As many of you know, I lead [if that's the right word] kayak trips for kiddies who have been bad and have been told by a judge to go risk their lives with me or else. This summer we are going to Glacier Bay, Alaska. I know there are folks out there who can give me good advice on what to see and what to watch out for. So please do. I was there in 1996 on a week-long trip from the top of the East Arm to Gustavus. This year's trip will be seven paddling days, all the munchkins will be in doubles and most of them will have never paddled before except for a one-day safety session that we will have before we leave Chicago. My inclination is to repeat the East Arm trip because I know it at least a little and because the whales and scenery were great. However, I am certainly open to other ideas. Any suggestions will be received with great thanks and appreciation.
