Here is my archived copy of the original T-shirt solicitation...

I have no idea if the fellow who organized it is interested in doing it again or if this address is even valid anymore.

Dear Nancy, Dave and the rest of Paddlewise,

Back in May when we had a mini Paddlewise get-together in the NYC area, I
thought it would be a great idea if we had T shirts for that occasion. I
investigated what it would take to get this done and reported the results
on Paddlewise. I agreed to lay out the money for the shirts if enough
people would commit to buying a shirt so that I could meet the minimum
order requirements. People committed, I ordered and now all the shirts
from that order are gone.

I am willing to do this again. I need a commitment of three dozen (36) to
get the shirts made. Here are the ground rules:

1. Send me an email stating that you want a shirt(s). I'll need the
quantity and sizes. Please don't do this if you don't intend to follow
through later. I had two deadbeats on the last order.

2. When I get the minimum order requirements satisified I will advertise a
cut-off date after which no orders will be accepted. I will ask that you
send me money (US currancy only), a conformation of quantity and sizes and
a mailing label for the return shipment.

3. I will send out the shirts as soon as they are ready and I have your
payment.

4. Shirt costs are $12.00 US which includes Priority mail in the US. If
you do not live in the US, I will need to adjust the mailing costs
accordingly. The T shirts are short sleeve, white with the Paddlewise logo
on the front. You can see the logo on our web site.

5. Please, if you have difficulty receiving mail securely, let me know
before hand and we'll work something out.

Please note that I am not in the T shirt business nor in the mail order
business. I'm willing to do this for Paddlewise but not if I lose money.
If you have questions, email me directly so we don't clog the list.

Bill Leonhardt
