[Paddlewise] Square footed slugs

Maybe slugs are embarrassed by their square feet and so always keep them out 
of sight. I've seen a lot of slugs (living in the NW) and have never seen 
their feet, have you?

Me:

I've never seen a slugs feet but, in the mountains of Switzerland, where 
slugs go to party, my pink flamingo's feet got covered with slugs every 
night.

And so did my kayak, which really made it a pain because I would pick off 
every one of those critters before paddling.  [I have a soft spot in my 
heart, as well as my head, for soft animals.]
