[Paddlewise] Embroidered Patches

i went to google.com and typed in embroidered patches manufacturers.  the second choice has a list

i submitted a request for an estimate from www.fastpatch.com with the following (tentative) info (required fields):

size 3.0 x 3.0  (I then asked for recommended size for a patch to sew on a cap or a jacket or a tote bag)

quantity:  100    (wild guess)

finished edge:  merrowed   (nicer-looking than cut)

required date:   2/15/02 (per 2/22 symposium)

somewhere on the front page I saw 70 cents per patch (which didn't seem too bad, even if we have to charge each other $2.00) but I'm sure quantity etc. will have a lot to do with this.

could someone else pick a company and input the same info and let us know so someone else can pick another company...i imagine we should get at least 3 quotes.

artwork:  they ask for it to be submitted as jpeg/gif etc. but I just referred them to www.paddlewise.net  (Jackie, is this OK?)
