I talked to my contact last night. The results were less than exciting, as follows; She does not have the correct loom to do just the patch. She can only do the embroidery directly on garments. In order to do it, she has to go through some computer process to instruct the machine on where to put each stitch.... anyway, that's a one-time-only fee of $50 to make the computer file. Once she has it, she keeps it and can re-use it over and over. The real basis for the cost will be the hat we select. She says that we can get a real nice quality hat and the logo embroidered on it for about $10. Add a little so that everyone covers the $50 set up fee, and add shipping to each person, and we're talking somewhere around $15 I'd think. It's just a hunch, but I'd suspect that you folks would rather opt for a $.34 stamp and a $.70 patch and sew it on yourselves. I'm still willing to pursue it if there is interest, though. I'll just wait and see what the general consensus is.
