Hi PW´s - sounds funny :-))

These message is espescially for all paddlers in the direct german
neighbourhood.

Today I´ve launched my new collecting order for products from Pains Wessex
(www.pwss.com) and McMurdo (mcmurdo.co.uk) and also Cyalume light sticks and
other stuff.
1,5 years ago I´d found a company here in Germany (www.pyropo.de), selling
these stuff together with a new distributional concept. It allows all
"normal" persons, to order directly from the main distributor (importeur)
and the more you order, you more you can save (money). But most importing
thing was and is it still, to explain the paddlers the usefulness of lare
and also their limits. And for several paddlers it is a problem to get the
flare-stuff, because here are so few dealers and silly regulations on
flares.

Last year I´ve ordered for about 5600 DM alltogether (was about eeeh, around
over 2500 USD ?), it was a great deal.
This year I get better charges so it will be cheaper than last year.
It is a NON-PROFIT order for me. I earn nothing. Everybody pays the same but
I like to see when people give more then necessary because I collect all the
money and give it to the DGzRS (www.dgzrs.de)afterwards. It is our kind of
Life Boat Instituation (as it is named in the UK), responsible for all
life-saving acts on sea (it is not supported by the state.

Normally I offer these order to all german sea-kayaker and all people who
need some flare stuff (rockets, smoke and bunring signals) or lightsticks
aso.

Now, Europe had become a little bit more closer with our new money, the
EURO. And I would like to ask our direct neighbour paddlers (Netherlands,
Danmark), if they need some flare stuff? Maybe they could save some money on
this way, too? Only problem would be to get the flares to them, but I´m
pretty sure, we could manage that.
All informations will be available by next time at
www.mariangunkel.de/temp/pwpreis.htm (hey, a Paddlewisenheimer, too) - but
in german. I will write a short translation of the price list next days, and
maybe we could launch it at Marian´s side also. Haha, Marian will look
surprised now, I´ll bet.

Ah, and next month the newest COSPAS-SARSAT EPIRB from McMurdo arrives on
the market. The Fastfind and Fastfind PLUS (with integrated GPS). Very flat
and small EPRIBS, really ideal to wear them in a life saving jacket or in a
kayak. I´ll could order get them too, for a really good price.

All interested people should contact me please.
The collection of orders will be closed on march the first, don´t wait to
long.

and paddle safe and long - bye

Jochen Grikschat
