I have just accepted a job in Fairbanks Alaska. Having traveled there several years ago I have a few foggy memories of the alcan highway, the northern lights, mosquitoes and vast distances between anything. But that is about it. Would love to chat with anyone who has experience paddling the interior or the coast. Since its a good 6-7 hours to the coast I reckon most of my paddling will be in the interior. I'll be taking the March 1 ferry north from Bellingham, is it worth taking a boat with me for the trip or should I let the movers have it? Thanks for any advice! shawn ------------------------- Shawn Servoss Prineville, OR (soon to be Fairbanks Alaska) this address is: <anomad_at_bendnet.com> 2nd email: <anomad_at_excite.com> *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
