Not all fears are rational, and my disconfort with wet-exits is one of these. I've never been entrapped, and don't consciously fear it. Think of a phobic with a fear of heights. We had those huge wolfe spiders in MO when I was a small boy and my Mom was afraid of them. Spiders also are a very, evil looking predator that kills things many times there size. They are all about biting, you coud say.
