Ron, my impression of Coleman tents (no disrespect intended to your recent purchase) has been that they aren't of very good quality and if you want a tent to last many years, go with another brand. Not sure exactly how I came to have that impression, but it's there nonetheless. Am I wrong? Should I be considering Coleman? Come to think of it, it may just be the particular models I've seen. The only place locally to shop for tents is Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Taget and the Sports Authority. I've viewed their tents as "toy tents" - particularly since some of them sell for as little as $30ish full price. How do you like the quality of yours, and how does it compare to brands like Eureka, Kelty, Sierra Designs, North Face, etc. If they are in the same class, I may have an opportunity to buy locally which I would greatly prefer. Let me know what you think, please.
